Selected artist residency at Nastupiste 1-12 Topoľčany, Slovakia. Film was made during 1 week residency developing site responsive new work in the small town of Topoľčany. 'Snippet' was filmed and edited entirely on just an iPhone. Inspired by some of the cinematography techniques used by Chris Marker in 'Le Joli Mai' the camera is used to track the way we see and navigate through unfamiliar spaces. In the same way our memories rearrange sequences in the time, Snippet remapped and merged together a series of different places around Slovakia.
