I have been excitedly developing new wall based art ideas using my own animated drawing sections in the surface of my patterns, bringing the wallpaper to life. This work is being developed for an exhibition at the Millenium Galleries in September 2016.

Just returned from an amazing creative break away in the foothills of the Pyrenees designing two new patterns for printing. Really inspiring time in isolation, meditating and drawing from the natural environment around me. I will post up new designs once they have been refined and are ready to be launched as part of a new collection.
Finally... My studio is up and running. Working on a new collection of patterns for prints and wallpapers following research project collecting images of old faded wallpapers around stately homes in the U.K. Spending 5 days drawing and designing new collection and will be off grid for a week in France. Very excited...

Collecting inspiration for new wallpaper designs at Nostell Priory. I do believe I'll be spending more time there looking at the beautiful craftsmanship, sketching out new ideas to develop into contemporary pattern. I am keen to unveil the stories hidden in the walls of this Georgian House and embed them into the patterns I create.
I am currently in the process of launching my new business venture in surface pattern design and hand making wallpapers and have had a publicity launch on both BBC Radio

Through my research I have recently discovered that my great, great grandfather was a Nottingham lace designer and his brother a draughtsman. This was a surprising and unexpected revelation that chimes with me as I have always had a passion for pattern and it is integral to my art practice which includes designing and hand printing wallpaper.
